We use recycled jars and
bottles to make flower pocket
vases or rooting jars. Some of the jars we used are placed, as they are, in the kiln with a mold inside them to give them the slumpled pocket vase shape. Others, like beer bottles, have had the tops removed from them first, then they are placed in the kiln to slump. The entire process takes 24 hours at a very hot temperature.
